Tujikwamue katika Elimu Kiakili Umasikini na Afya.

TEKUA is a capacity building non-governmental organization that aims to educate the community and the society as a whole in an empowerment struggle against poverty, illiteracy, intellectual competencies, and global pandemics. TEKUA is derived from five Kiswahili words: Tujikwamue katika Elimu, Ki-akili, Umasikini na Afya.

TEKUA is registered with theTanzania ministry of development, gender and children as a non-governmental organization with Registration No. OONGO/1548.

In TEKUA we recognize the various material and financial challenges faced by orphans, single mothers, youths in rural Tanzanian. We have developed specialized educational programs as a way of assisting them realize their full potential and hence contribute more to Tanzania national development.

One of our center’s best features is the commitment and dedication it gives to each student. It offers students both locally and international volunteers, inviting them to an intellectually stimulating environment where they can prepare for their dreams. We also provide full academic scholarships in all courses to needy and underprivileged students in our community.

About Us

T.E.K.U.A is based in Arusha Tanzania, our institution offers many opportunities for students to develop into work-ready graduates. For over 18 years TEKUA has provided a top post-secondary education. Experienced and passionate entrepreneurship programs that meet the needs of evolving industries. Small class sizes mean that students receive the type of individualized one on one attention from teachers that enhances the personalized learning process.

TEKUA Center is located behind Usa River Post Office along Arusha – Moshi highway.

Participate in community-driven projects with local school s, health Institutions, and other stakeholdrs focused on making a positive impact on our society.

GIRLS EMPOWERMENT

Advocating and promoting the rights and interests of the world's youth, with a special focus on girls’ rights to overcome issues of gender discrimination.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

In partnership with individuals and various organizations TEKUA offers part and full academic scholarship to students. Beneficiaries include teenage mothers, disadvantaged kids, and orphans. Our scholarships may include sponsorship to other institutions of higher learning. VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS

TEKUA offers special Local and International volunteers programs and cultural exchange programs with activities including teaching various skills to students, cultural excursions, fun filled outdoors activities and sightseeing. The TEKUA center is a safe and inclusive community environment and for the International Student or volunteers, we offer dedicated support for international students and our volunteers to create a sense of belonging and an extended family. All students can take advantage of extensive academic support, career advice, recreational amenities and other facilities.
